Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract This opportunity offers a specialized role providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting through telehealth platforms. The position involves working with five students, delivering tailored interventions that support their educational and developmental needs remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students. Implement teletherapy sessions to address sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges impacting student learning. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with school policies. Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students across grades K-12, ensuring effective remote engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification in occupational therapy. Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school-based setting. Proven proficiency in telehealth and teletherapy platforms specific to OT interventions. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage remote sessions efficiently. Familiarity with educational regulations and IEP processes relevant to students with special needs.
