Position:
Occupational Therapist (School Based) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Fayette. This role involves working within a school setting to support students in achieving their educational goals by addressing physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' abilities and develop individualized intervention plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments. Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve students' functional skills. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Provide training and resources to teachers and staff to support students' occupational needs.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in a school setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
