Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract Providing occupational therapy services through telehealth, this contract position supports five K-12 students in a school setting located in Sweet Water, AL. The role requires delivering tailored interventions to enhance students' functional abilities and participation in educational activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting teletherapy sessions focused on occupational therapy goals Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized plans Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school guidelines Utilizing technology platforms effectively to engage K-12 students remotely Desired qualifications and experience: License or certification in occupational therapy Proven experience with telehealth or teletherapy service delivery Familiarity with school-based occupational therapy practices Ability to work independently within a virtual environment Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff This role offers an engaging opportunity to provide essential therapy services remotely, supporting student success from a distance.
