We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT to join our Vernon, AL team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and make a meaningful impact across a variety of patient populations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs to develop personalized treatment plans. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with realistic, achievable goals in collaboration with patients and their families. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities using various techniques and modalities. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, home exercises, and adaptive strategies to promote ongoing self-management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in compliance with legal and professional standards. Work closely with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care. Advocate for patients' needs and support their access to necessary resources and services. Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices through continuing education and professional development. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
