Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various settings, including skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and acute care environments. This role involves providing therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities, autism, and other developmental challenges. The Occupational Therapist will focus on enhancing patients' ability to perform daily activities and improve their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and strategies for achieving them. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in occupational health. Provide support in pediatric settings, focusing on children with developmental delays or disabilities. Adapt therapeutic activities to meet the specific needs of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach. Experience Proven experience in occupational therapy within skilled nursing facilities or clinics is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals with autism and other disabilities is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to occupational therapy practices. Experience in acute care settings is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. A valid occupational therapy license is required for practice. Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
