Occupational Therapist Little Rock, AR $75 an hour - Contract $75 an hour - Contract Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient-centered care, with expertise in assessing and improving individuals' functional abilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for developing personalized care plans, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting preschool aged and/or adolescent aged patients. Your role will be vital in promoting independence and enhancing quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to identify their needs and goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices. Provide therapy services for pediatric and/or adolescent population. Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve functional outcomes and adapt to their environments effectively. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case management activities in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Proven experience working with pediatric population. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disabilities, or developmental delays in pediatric or school settings.
