Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students for the upcoming school year. This position, located near Avondale, AZ, offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's academic and personal success. As an integral member of a collaborative educational team, you will utilize your expertise to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each student's unique needs. Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT licensure in Arizona (or ability to obtain) School-based OT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication abilities Dedication to evidence-based practices and individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement IEP-driven therapy programs Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other specialists to address students' needs Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students on your caseload Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on students' functional and academic goals Educate staff and parents about strategies for success in classroom and home settings Experience the fulfillment of helping students achieve meaningful progress and independence.
