Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a supportive school environment near Chandler, AZ. This full-time, contract-based opportunity offers hands-on experience with a diverse caseload across multiple campuses. You'll collaborate with students, educators, and families to foster academic and functional success, ensuring every learner receives personalized care. The role calls for an on-site presence throughout the entire school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program Current Arizona OT licensure IVP fingerprint clearance card (time-sensitive requirement for onboarding) Experience or comfort working with school-aged children, Pre-K-12th grade Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and ability to adapt across various school settings Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation preferredPrimary Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor, adaptive, and sensory integration needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Work closely with teachers and parents to monitor progress and support student goals Maintain clear and timely documentation according to district and legal standards Provide therapy services to assigned schools (number of campuses assigned TBD) Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment As a valued professional in this position, you'll benefit from the stability of a Monday through Friday, 40-hour workweek following the academic calendar.
