Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity making a difference in students' lives as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting a local school community near Coolidge, AZ. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students, applying your expertise to help children achieve their fullest potential in an educational environment.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current, active Occupational Therapy license valid in the state. Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt therapy plans to align with IEP goals, school requirements, and individual student needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and school policies. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with district and state guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development and participation in school routines. Engage in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development activities as required. Maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and therapy delivery.
