Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a specialized role supporting elementary students and helping shape their development as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity caters to those seeking a balanced part-time schedule while making a meaningful impact in an educational setting near Goodyear, AZ. You'll play an essential role in providing dedicated OT services for an elementary caseload, working just 5 hours each month during the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Active Arizona state OT license Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-age children Strong communication and documentation skills Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators and families Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and changing educational environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Assess students' functional abilities and develop intervention plans Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to compliance procedures Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidiscipline team decisions Foster student independence and engagement in classroom activities Provide resources and recommendations for classroom accommodations
