Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This dynamic role offers the perfect blend of direct student interaction and professional leadership, with the chance to provide supervision to two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). You'll have the flexibility to work at two different sites, including engaging with self-contained classrooms, allowing for varied experiences each week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred Confidence in or willingness to supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants Adaptability to work across two locations and with diverse student populations (K-12) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and provide individualized occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and developmental needs Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet student IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families in both mainstream and self-contained classroom settings Guide and supervise two COTAs, ensuring high-quality service delivery across all assigned caseloads Maintain accurate records, complete evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings Travel between two assigned locations as scheduled This role offers a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, ensuring you have the time to build positive relationships with students and contribute as a valued member of the educational community.
