Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active and valid OT license in Arizona Experience with school-age populations and a solid understanding of IEP processes Previous work in school-based occupational therapy is highly preferred Excellent assessment skills and familiarity with therapeutic interventions for diverse student needs Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators and parents

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations for students in accordance with school guidelines and state regulations Analyze assessment results and create detailed reports to support IEP teams Collaborate with other school professionals to develop appropriate therapy plans After the initial evaluation phase, provide therapy sessions tailored to student goals Document progress, maintain records, and adjust interventions as needed to support positive student outcomes Communicate with families, staff, and administrators to support student progress and engagement
