Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' growth and development as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year near the beautiful Mount Lemmon area. Contribute your expertise in a collaborative, educational environment—your skills will help empower students to achieve their fullest potential. This unique, part-time opportunity is ideal for those seeking a balanced schedule, with 7 hours per week (one day per week) dedicated to hands-on evaluation and therapy within a supportive school community.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine/gross motor skills, and individualized education programs (IEPs) Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and family members Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' progress Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of services Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Take advantage of this opportunity to shape students' futures while enjoying a manageable and consistent work schedule.
