This vibrant opportunity near Patagonia, AZ, is ideal for professionals experienced in adapting their OT expertise to a variety of settings, from in-person classroom support to innovative teletherapy modalities. We're in search of a motivated and compassionate occupational therapist ready to collaborate closely with educators, families, and students to foster independence and achievement. You'll leverage your clinical skills across in-person, healthcare, telehealth, and school-specific environments.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapy license Proven experience working with school-aged children in educational or healthcare settings Proficiency with both teletherapy platforms and in-person intervention Adaptability for home health and remote delivery models as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging families, students, and educational staff Ability to effectively interpret and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborative mindset for participating in multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Delivery of occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored for school-aged populations Implement therapy via in-person and remote sessions, adjusting strategies for each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to advance student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals Monitor and report on outcome measures, adapting plans as necessary
