Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity near Phoenix, AZ, where your occupational therapy expertise will make a meaningful difference for K-12 students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This role presents the unique chance to deliver holistic OT services on a single campus serving all grade levels, allowing for strong relationships with students and collaborative partnerships with staff. The ideal candidate will bring well-rounded experience spanning traditional school-based OT, healthcare, home health, and teletherapy. Familiarity with the School Based Medicaid Program will set you apart, ensuring compliance and maximizing resources that benefit students. A valid Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiner's License is required for this role.
Key Qualifications:
Active Arizona OT license (Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners) Background in school-based OT, plus experience in clinical, home health, or teletherapy settings
Preferred:
Knowledge of the School Based Medicaid Program Comfortable working with K-12 students across a variety of needs and disciplines Strong communication skills to partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and develop individualized OT intervention plans for students from Kindergarten through high school Deliver therapy through onsite, home health, and virtual (teletherapy) methods as needed Stay organized across a consistent schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m. (Wednesdays early release at 12:30 p.m.) Maintain accurate documentation, monitor progress, and participate in IEP meetings Engage in campus-wide initiatives supporting student success Interviews are scheduled for mid-May, so be ready to showcase your experience, compassion, and adaptability.
