Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for an Occupational Therapist seeking a contract position in a vibrant school setting near Rillito, AZ. This role is an excellent fit for professionals looking to focus on evaluations, followed by therapy services, all within a flexible part-time schedule. In this position, you'll start by conducting evaluations and later provide ongoing occupational therapy to students. With approximately 10-15 hours per week, this role is ideal for those wanting impactful work while maintaining a balanced schedule. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in school-based OT or a pediatric setting is preferred Familiarity with evaluation tools and documentation for K-12 students Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Compassion and dedication to supporting student development
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students as assigned Develop individualized treatment goals and plans Transition into providing therapy services based on students' needs and evaluation outcomes Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings as needed Monitor and adjust interventions as progress is tracked
