Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Enhance your professional journey as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an exciting contract opportunity near Sahuarita, AZ. This full-time position is designed for dedicated professionals with expertise in providing exceptional support to K-12 students within a collaborative school setting.
Key Details:
Contract duration: August 3, 2026 - May 27, 2027 40 hours per week, with consistent onsite services Serve a diverse K-12 caseload
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Arizona OT license Experience supporting students in a school or healthcare environment, with strong skills in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation requirements Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to improve students' functional skills Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation Communicate progress to families, educators, and support staff Deliver onsite therapy tailored to each student's needs, fostering engagement and growth Consult with school personnel to create supportive classroom strategies for students
