Job Description

Arizona Center for Hand to Shoulder Surgery is one of the leading upper extremity providers in the greater Phoenix area. Our practice is currently in search of a dynamic individual seeking to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Applicants must be proficient in personal interactions, effective in verbal and written communication, and have strong multi-tasking skills. Candidates on a track to pursue a career in an allied health profession are preferred, however this is not a requirement. We are hiring for the following locations:

Responsibilities:
Support occupational therapist with various aspects of clinical care. o Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patients o Tracking patient arrival time, coordinating with occupational therapist and front office staff to ensure timely start to therapy treatment o Observing and guiding patients through exercises and activities prescribed by occupational therapist, under direct supervision of therapist. o Setting up patients with therapeutic modalities o Assisting therapist with various aspect of orthosis fabrication o Completing opening and closing duties as outlined by clinic guidelines This role is unique, in that you are working in a hybrid medical/therapy suite working directly with surgeons and care providers, alongside a licensed occupational therapist. The position provides exposure to acute trauma and post operative cases and will promote knowledge of a variety of upper extremity conditions. You will be working directly with an occupational therapist, observing, and participating in patient care. Comprehensive and hands on training will be provided directly by staff and occupational therapist.

Full Time Shift and schedule: Monday through Friday. Hourly schedule will be based on clinic census Job requirements: • High school diploma or GED Previous rehab tech experience preferred but not required
