This full-time role is ideal for passionate and skilled Occupational Therapists ready to make a meaningful impact on PreK-8th grade learners. The position is based onsite and offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team throughout the academic year. You'll work with students to enhance their participation and performance within the school setting, focusing on tailored interventions, assessments, and collaborative support. Experience with school-aged populations is highly valued, and candidates must have an active state license along with an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of application.
Ideal Experience & Credentials:
Valid Occupational Therapist state license (required) Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required) Background in school-based occupational therapy preferred Experience with PreK-8th grade caseloads is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and document results Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input Maintain thorough records and collaborate effectively with other professionals This full-time, contract term begins in early August and runs through late May, aligning with the academic calendar.
