Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist can make a real difference for students! This full-time role offers the chance to work onsite throughout the school year, collaborating closely with educators and families to support children's growth and success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school-based settings preferred, though not required Ability to assess and address student needs across varying abilities Strong understanding of IEP documentation and development Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams Adaptability to meet changing student and school needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, focusing on fostering independence and participation within the school environment Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized and informal assessments to guide therapeutic planning Develop and implement IEP goals, working closely with educators, families, and other service providers Deliver interventions that address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed Take part in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
