Essential Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs Strong teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Comfort with documentation, progress reports, and compliance with educational standards and
IEPs Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and functional school tasks Develop and implement targeted intervention programs designed to promote students' participation and success in the classroom Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate generalization of skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans Provide direct and consultative services, adapting materials and activities to meet a variety of student needs Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress
