Are you seeking a well-paid, part-time position in the northwest part of the valley that starts mid-July? Does working at a school •and• remotely sound good? We staff several schools for Speech & OT in Arizona, you'll be part of a dynamic team! This is a part-time position as an Independent Contractor (not an employee). Main school is near Loop 303 & Northern Pkwy, other schools near Peoria and Surprise. Some of your services can be done remotely. Flexible days & hours! Biweekly Payments Direct Deposit - including app for viewing payment history == Job Duties == Complete Evaluations, Plan of Care and relevant documentation: Must be able to complete evaluations on a pediatric population, develop a plan of care in a school or clinic setting and maintain relevant documentation and supervision for COTAs.
Implementing Therapy Plans:
Carry out individual or group therapy sessions with students targeting specific occupational therapy goals.
Monitoring Progress:
Help track and document students' progress during therapy sessions, providing valuable partnerships and communication with the
COTA Creating and Preparing Materials:
Assist in creating or preparing therapy materials and resources to support students' learning and development.
Providing Classroom Support:
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement strategies that facilitate skills within the classroom environment.
Supporting Home Practice:
Work with students and COTAs to ensure that therapy goals are reinforced through activities at home.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary documentation. Required Current, active state license Able to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance to work in an educational setting Must have own laptop Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility Maintains professional working relationships with all team members Able to take feedback from colleagues, administrators, teachers, and parents Pediatric experience is preferred.
