Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help them overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and strength
  • Teach patients adaptive strategies to enhance their independence in daily activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy preferred
  • Knowledge of occupational health, pediatrics, medical imaging, patient service, anatomy, speech therapy, hospital settings, physiology, acute care, and critical care is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
