As a traveling Occupational Therapist, you'll have the ability to work alongside skilled clinicians, gaining insights into varied therapy approaches and leadership styles that will enrich your clinical skills and provide a significant boost to your resume. In this travel role, you will provide therapy to patients in a hospital and home health setting throughout a dynamic territory covering much of Alameda County. This assignment promises exposure to a diverse patient population and flexible options for scheduling and caseload management, empowering you to tailor your experience to your professional interests.
Schedule/Hours:
Both guaranteed hours (36 per week with productivity expectations) and non-guaranteed options available Weekend coverage may be required Potential travel outside primary area for full caseload
Qualifications:
Current California Occupational Therapist license BLS certification Valid driver's license, auto registration, and insurance Up-to-date TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), annual Flu vaccine Ability to complete drug screen and physical New graduates are welcome! Home health experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy in a combination of home health and hospital environments Complete documentation and comply with visit productivity requirements Visit a variety of communities within assigned territory, ensuring quality patient care Be willing to treat Covid+ and Covid PUI patients as needed Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong patient communication
