1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient hand therapy assignment in California, requiring a minimum of 5 years of outpatient hand therapy experience and a valid CA OT license. Details Outpatient hand therapy setting Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00-19:30 Patient population spans pre-teens through geriatric individuals Cases include post-operative conditions, acute injuries, workers' compensation, and chronic orthopedic upper extremity disorders 13-week contract Requirements Active California OT license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Minimum 5 years of experience in an outpatient hand therapy setting Proficiency in splint fabrication for post-operative, acute, and chronic conditions Experience treating a wide range of orthopedic upper extremity diagnoses CHT certification preferred but not required 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
