Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California Demonstrated experience in school-based OT, preferably with K-12 populations Background in home health OT and teletherapy practices is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff Adaptable, patient, and committed to meeting the varied needs of students Familiarity with IEPs, student documentation, and progress monitoring Ability to manage an evolving caseload and thrive in a contract-based position
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive OT assessments and create individualized therapy plans Implement interventions in classroom, home, and virtual settings to promote functional skills Provide consultative support and training for teachers and caregivers Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and updates Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Employ evidence-based practices to address fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation needs Adapt service delivery to best support each student's educational goals Bring your OT experience to a setting where every day is different and every effort makes a difference.
