Job Overview:
Full/Part-Time licensed pediatric Occupational therapist needed to work in dynamic and friendly private practice in Carlsbad, CA. Our occupational therapists see children birth to teen with a variety of disorders/difficulties including autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing difficulty, fine and gross motor concerns, developmental delay.
Responsibilities:
  • OT is responsible for conducting evaluations and assessments, developing treatment plans with long term/short term goals, providing direct and indirect occupational therapy, and writing evaluation reports and progress reports.
We enjoy frequent team collaboration. Ample documentation time provided throughout the work day.
Skills:
  • Strong background in Pediatrics settings
  • Excellent client care skills with a focus on providing compassionate and individualized care
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to occupational therapy
  • Proficient in assessing and treating patients with various conditions such as neurological disorders, developmental delays, autism, down syndrome, fine and gross motor delays
  • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams to coordinate client care
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
