Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the full 2026-2027 academic year in Clayton, CA. This contract position offers a rewarding chance to support students' developmental and functional needs in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting. Provide direct therapy services and support student participation in educational activities. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations.Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience working with children in school settings. Strong knowledge of pediatric therapeutic techniques and school-based intervention strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.Position Details:
