Occupational Therapist School Setting - Concord, CA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Concord, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $38 - $70 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment near Concord, CA. This onsite, full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse caseload from now through the end of May 2027. As a valued team member, you will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students' occupational and functional needs within the school setting. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills to succeed academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in OT within K-12 schools preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Ability to adapt activities and interventions to meet individual student needs Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to school standards Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services onsite Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families Advocate for students' access to appropriate accommodations and modifications Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based
