1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment requiring a CA license and the ability to float between inpatient rehab and acute care. Details Inpatient rehab unit (ARU) with occasional float to inpatient acute care Sunday through Thursday schedule Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-17:30) Requirements Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of OT experience required Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree) Ability to float between inpatient rehab and acute care settings Additional Information Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy programs for patients with illness, injury, psychological conditions, or developmental delays Develop and update individualized Plans of Care (POC) based on patient evaluation and diagnosis Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members and support staff Provide clinical supervision to OT assistants and aides, and serve as clinical instructor for assigned students Maintain accurate documentation including patient evaluations, treatment records, and charge capture in the EHR Participate in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment 2 supervisory references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
