Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding Occupational Therapist contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, serving school communities in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. This full-time onsite position allows you to make a direct impact on students' lives across multiple local educational settings, as you travel between several school sites. Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in California (OTR/L) Prior experience providing OT services in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation Skilled in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering both direct and consultative services Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to travel independently between designated school sites as an itinerant therapist
Role Responsibilities:
Assess students' abilities and needs, utilizing standardized and informal tools Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans as part of IEP teams Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress Deliver direct therapy and consultation to students and teachers on assigned campuses Maintain timely, thorough, and compliant documentation and reporting Travel to multiple sites throughout the week to serve a diverse caseload This is your chance to support students as they build essential life and academic skills, while surrounded by a collaborative and welcoming educational community.
