  • $70 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a dynamic contract opportunity serving students from PreK through 8th grade in a supportive educational environment. In this role, you'll have the chance to positively impact the lives of approximately 19 students as you provide occupational therapy services tailored to their unique needs. This is an ideal position for professionals who are passionate about fostering growth and development in young learners within a school-based setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in California Experience providing OT services in school settings is preferred Skilled in delivering assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with students, families, and school staff Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs across grades PreK-8
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized intervention plans Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students individually and in small groups Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student learning and participation Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student support Maintain compliance with credential and documentation requirements throughout the school year Perks of this
