Job Description

Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to enhance student learning and independence through skillful intervention and care. Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Proven experience providing OT services within schools, including direct and consultative models Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery Strong foundation in gross motor skill development and functional mobility Experience with home health OT a plus, demonstrating adaptable service delivery Ability to design and implement individualized educational and therapeutic programs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff Organized, flexible, and skilled at managing cases across multiple settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver OT interventions for students to support participation in educational activities Conduct comprehensive gross motor skill evaluations and incorporate findings into IEPs and treatment plans Provide teletherapy as well as onsite sessions in alignment with each student's needs and preferences Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with all applicable guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to maximize student outcomes Contribute to the development of strategies promoting independence in school and home environments This contract position offers you the flexibility to reach students where they are—whether onsite or virtually—while making a lasting impact on their growth and well-being.
