Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role where you can make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist within local educational settings. This full-time opportunity spans the entire school year and offers the chance to support students' growth and development in an engaging, collaborative environment. Two positions are available—one working exclusively with elementary students and another serving a broader K-12 population—allowing you to match your experience and passion to the age group that suits you best.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Hold an active Occupational Therapy license appropriate for school practice. Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred. Proficient in evaluating students and developing individualized treatment plans. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families. Adaptable and organized, able to manage a dynamic caseload throughout the school year. Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need. Develop and implement therapy interventions tailored to each student's goals. Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and insight to inform educational planning. Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure integrated care. Maintain detailed documentation in line with school district and professional standards. Support students' adaptive, motor, and functional skills in classroom and school settings.
