Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in an enriching educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a difference by providing Occupational Therapy services to students, ensuring they thrive both inside and outside the classroom. This role is part-time, spanning three days a week (.6 FTE), with a commitment of 21-24 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California, or eligibility to obtain before the start date Prior experience working in school settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards Ability to assess students' functional abilities, develop and implement intervention plans Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and other related service professionals Flexible, compassionate, and able to adapt to the dynamic needs of students
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and create individualized treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate student records and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional input Participate in professional development and school training as needed This part-time role offers a balanced schedule that supports professional growth alongside meaningful student impact.
