Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing occupational therapy services in an engaging educational setting just as summer unfolds. This contract opportunity offers a unique chance to work with students during the Extended School Year (ESY) period, supporting their growth and development in a welcoming school environment. The position is ideal for those eager to make a meaningful difference over a compact, four-week assignment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active California OT license required Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with diverse student populations Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Adaptability to meet the needs of students in a fast-paced ESY program
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as part of the summer school team Assess students' needs and progress through formal and informal evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans and goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs and success Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as required
