  • Part-time, Full-time Outpatient clinic, located in La Mesa.

Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program

Current Occupational Therapy state License (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive initial evaluations for patients assessing mobility, strength, functional status, and pulmonary function. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based interventions to address physical limitations and optimize functional outcomes. Provide skilled treatment plans aimed at improving exercise tolerance, endurance, and overall functional mobility. Monitor and reassess patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction. Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and maximize patient progress. Complete timely and accurate document of patient encounters, evaluations, recertification, and progress notes in electronic medical record system (WebPT). Supervising PTAs, PT aids, and Medical Assistants.

Ability to perform Evaluations and treatments for Medicare, workers comp, and Lien patients.
