Currently seeking qualified Occupational Therapist for positions near Van Nuys, CA.• These are Full-time positions for the next school year 2026-27 starting in August .•The ideal candidate will hold an active California state License with a passion for pediatrics. Requirements of the Occupational Therapist (OT) A passion for working with pediatrics Masters Degree Active CA state License Ability to work with a collaborative team At least 1 year of experience working in schools Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist (OT) Address client's aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality Select and adapt the appropriate per case occupational therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) Teach clients/students new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components. Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use Guide and educate family members and caregivers Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
