Job Description

The Pelvic Model is HIRING! Hello! We're The Pelvic Model , a pelvic-health-only practice in Highland Park, Los Angeles. We treat all things pelvic dysfunction: pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, sexual health, pregnancy & postpartum, and the complex cases that need real time and real expertise. At our clinic, we prioritize people first , both patients and our staff. Because we operate out-of-network, our therapists aren't rushed or boxed in by insurance rules. That means you get to treat patients the way you were trained to treat them: thoroughly with thoughtfulness and with clinical autonomy. It also means our team avoids the type of burnout that often comes from high-volume caseloads. Clinicians have a 7 patient a day maximum. We invest heavily in onboarding, mentorship, and clinical development . New team members receive a structured training program with: Modules covering common pelvic diagnoses and treatment approaches Shadowing with experienced pelvic therapists Weekly meetings A supportive team ready to answer questions and collaborate We're looking for another pelvic floor therapist who values evidence-based practice , a biopsychosocial and whole-body approach , and a clinic environment that supports quality over volume . This is a part-time position . We are looking for someone who is: Excited to treat pelvic health patients as 100% of their caseload. Motivated to learn, develop, and grow in this specialty. Driven to become an excellent pelvic PT, not just "dabble" in it. Aligned with the use of internal pelvic exams (when appropriate and with consent) and external treatment as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. On board with 1:1, 60-minute sessions and follow-up visits that allow you to assess and treat the entire body and look for root causes, not just symptoms. Thrives in a collaborative team where mutual support matters. Wants a clear, predictable schedule that supports high-quality care. Who may not be a good fit: Prefers a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment Does not want an exclusively pelvic caseload Is uncomfortable discussing sexual, urinary, or bowel health Prefers working in a large organization Prefers working independently without collaboration
Duties:
Provide 1:1, 60-minute pelvic health sessions using a whole-body, biopsychosocial approach. Perform comprehensive evaluations, including external and internal pelvic exams when clinically appropriate and with full informed consent. Develop clear, individualized treatment plans focused on function, education, lifestyle strategies, strength, mobility, and nervous-system-aware care using our method: The Pelvic Module. Complete all documentation, not dictated by insurance companies. Collaborate with our pelvic therapy team through case reviews, mentorship, and ongoing clinical development. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, referring providers, and our admin team to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Participate in community workshops, classes, or projects if that's an area you want to grow in (optional but encouraged) . Uphold The Pelvic Model's standard of care: patient-centered, evidence-informed, and delivered with compassion.
Qualifications:
Licensed PT or OT in California. New grads are welcome to apply, especially those who are truly committed to building their career in pelvic health and confident treating/learning to treat patients of all genders. Genuine interest in this specialty is a must.
Preferred:
1-2 years of experience in a pelvic health setting and a strong orthopedic foundation.
Preferred:
Completion of introductory pelvic health coursework (Herman & Wallace, APTA, or equivalent).
Pay:
$47.00 - $60.00 per hour
Benefits:
Paid time off
Work Location:
In person
