Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist, supporting students' growth and independence in an educational setting near Pacoima, CA. This role plays a vital part in fostering student success and ensuring access to meaningful learning experiences across multiple school sites.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist license for California Strong background working in school-based OT settings Demonstrated expertise with pediatric caseloads and IEP processes Comfortable managing a caseload of 40 or more students Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support diverse needs Excellent communication and organizational skills Capable of working independently while providing onsite services (no VOCO/remote options)
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Conduct evaluations, create and implement treatment plans, and document progress Travel between assigned school sites as needed to meet student needs Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and participation Consult with teachers and school staff to develop accommodations and classroom strategies Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations This full-time, contract assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week.
