Qualifications & Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience or strong interest working in school-based settings (K-12 preferred) Ability to develop and implement customized therapeutic interventions Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families Openness to working onsite with a flexible, team-oriented mindset Willingness to consider travel assignments is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group therapy based on students' education plans Assess students' functional abilities and collaborate on IEP teams Provide consultative support to educators and families Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school guidelines Help empower students to maximize independence and participation in school activities
