Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract position serving students ages 3-22 with a wide range of disabilities. This full-time, year-round role offers the unique opportunity to make a tangible impact by providing occupational therapy services across multiple educational sites. Flexibility is a key feature—you'll have the autonomy to craft your own schedule based on district needs.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Familiarity with assessment tools such as the BOT-3 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency) and Peabody Developmental Motor Scales. Demonstrated experience working with students who have mild to severe disabilities, including those with multiple diagnoses. Strong ability to interpret and use assessment data to address parent concerns and support recommendations for services. Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school sites throughout the week (itinerant position).
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver therapy to students across a diverse caseload. Perform consultations and assessments that may fluctuate as district needs change—there is no cap on the caseload. Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes. Maintain clear and responsive communication, particularly in translating complex data into actionable insights for families and staff. Independently organize your weekly itinerary to maximize efficiency and meet obligations across sites.
