Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Work closely with a diverse K-12 student population in a vibrant educational environment near Morgan Hill, CA, and help create an atmosphere where every child can thrive and participate fully in school activities. Your expertise will support children across all grade levels, collaborating with educators and families to maximize each student's independence and participation in the classroom. As a valued contributor, you will deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions, help design individualized learning plans, and make a lasting impact on young lives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current California OT license Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings strongly preferred Familiarity with IEPs, evaluation tools, and therapeutic equipment Competence working with diverse student needs, from mild to moderate to more intensive support Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation to students K-12 Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to foster student progress Document services, progress, and data in compliance with school and district guidelines Recommend adaptive equipment or strategies for improved classroom participation Advocate for student needs and assist with transitions as needed throughout the school year Take on a pivotal role where your skills and compassion make a daily difference in students' success.
