School Occupational Therapist

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to provide specialized support across three schools in Mountain View, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with students requiring both direct and consultative services within the educational setting. You'll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their functional goals, supporting their participation and success in school activities.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality direct occupational therapy services to students, approximately 22 direct service cases currently Providing consultation and support to educators and staff, with about 13 consult cases Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conducting assessments to identify student needs and progress Maintaining timely and accurate documentation and reports Attending meetings related to student progress and therapy plans Preferred qualifications and experience: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure and credentials Experience working in school-based settings Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize work efficiently This full-time position requires 8 hours of daily commitment across three different schools, providing a dynamic work environment with varying student needs. The role offers competitive compensation in the range of $55 to $70 per hour.
