Occupational Therapist Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve greater independence in daily living, work, and recreational activities. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve functional outcomes and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Assess patients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional performance and independence. Train patients in activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility. Recommend and educate patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, educators, and caregivers to coordinate care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and professional standards. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, home programs, and safety strategies. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a clinical, rehabilitation, school, or community setting preferred.
