Job Description

Job Title:
Part Time School Occupational Therapist (School Based OT) Located in Oakland, CA We are looking for a committed and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of students with physical, mental or developmental conditions. You will offer effective and student-centered services that will enable children to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities. The successful candidate will have an holistic perspective and will be able to adapt the environment to fit the person. As a school based Occupational Therapist, you will use meaningful activities and develop ways to help children participate in the what they need in order to promote physical and mental wellbeing. You will work with an elementary school caseload and collaborate with other staff members to develop Individualized Education Plans for each student. Requirements The OT (Occupational Therapist) must have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy, hold occupational therapy license from the state of California to provide therapy services to school aged kiddos.
