Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact in the educational community by providing occupational therapy services to students in dynamic school environments. This contract opportunity near Oroville, CA, involves supporting learners across two assignments at different sites, with schedules beginning in early June and running through early July. You'll collaborate closely with school teams to enhance student development and help students reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid OT license in California required Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred Familiarity with IDEA and IEP process Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and settings Collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services for students with a variety of abilities Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP-driven interventions Monitor, document, and report on student progress Provide consultative support to staff and families to facilitate student access to the curriculum Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to planning efforts Cover two assignment locations, with schedules beginning between June 8th and June 11th, and continuing through July 2nd, approximately three days per week Imagine being able to apply your expertise in occupational therapy while positively impacting students' lives over the summer session.
