Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Experience an enriching opportunity supporting students' growth as an Occupational Therapist during a unique contract assignment. This short-term position, conveniently scheduled from June 22nd through July 3rd, features compact hours: 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal time. Located in the vibrant Redwood City area, this role is an excellent fit for candidates with school-based OT expertise seeking to make an impact without a long-term commitment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create effective therapy plans Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Experience assessing and addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional classroom needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans that help students access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies and accommodations Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates with the educational team and families Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary school staff during the assignment period Imagine contributing your OT skills in a supportive school environment, where your expertise fosters meaningful student progress.
