Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity near Richmond, CA involves delivering expert OT services across multiple settings—on campus, in the home, through teletherapy, and within various healthcare environments. Make a difference collaborating with educators and families, promoting student growth and access as you address their unique therapeutic needs. What you bring to the table: Current Occupational Therapy license (CA-licensed or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience in school-based OT essential; exposure to home health, healthcare, or teletherapy a plus Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Confidence delivering therapy to students in grades K-12 Commitment to fostering student independence, safety, and participation in school routines Ability to craft and execute individualized treatment plans Collaborative, team-focused mindset Key responsibilities include: Conducting assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring Developing and implementing IEP-related therapy interventions Providing direct treatment—both one-on-one and in group settings Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Offering consultative services for staff and parents to support student success Assisting in transition planning and documentation for students' progress Maintaining timely, compliant records and reports This role begins with the new school year and continues through its completion, offering the chance to make a lasting impact.
