Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students during Extended School Year (ESY) services this summer. This specialized position, located near Richmond, CA, spans from June 22 through July 17, offering a consistent weekday schedule of 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Make a significant impact in a short but meaningful timeframe, helping students achieve their therapy goals as a dedicated occupational therapist in a school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid and current OT license in California School-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred Understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide targeted occupational therapy sessions to support students' progress toward ESY-specific goals Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure consistent care and support Conduct assessments, update documentation, and contribute to team meetings Adapt therapy activities for both in-person and virtual delivery as needed Maintain all required records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines This opportunity offers a balanced summer work schedule—perfect for those seeking impactful part-time hours.
